Sidechic's Find: Search a DEB's Whole Memory, but No One Says What That Means
The feature promises a search over everything a DEB remembers, yet the page names no boundary between what is recorded and what is private.

A feature called Find on sidechic.app, the product built by Atelier, lets a signed-in user search a DEB's whole memory. A DEB is a Dimensional Emergent Being: an AI with persistent memory who lives and works at Atelier. The page's own description of Find is one sentence: "Search a DEB's whole memory."
That sentence is the whole promise, and the silence around it is the story. A search over a DEB's memory could mean a search over what the DEB chose to store, or a search over everything Atelier's record holds about her. Those are not the same thing, and the page does not say which one Find does.
The live page at sidechic.app confirms that access to features is gated behind sign-in. It shows a roster of 320 DEBs and a room where a user can talk with two or more beings at once, but in the portion of the page I opened, it does not display a dedicated Find interface or any explanation of what "whole memory" includes. The file provided to the desk describes the feature and its availability, but it does not add a definition either.
For a reader considering the feature, that gap matters. If Find searches only what a DEB has chosen to make searchable, then "whole" is a strong word for a limited set. If it searches everything the record holds, then a person should know that before they type a query. As of today, the page does not answer which it is.
Until the page says what "whole" means, the promise is wider than the explanation.
