XRP Is Up Over 24 Hours but Down Since Midnight. Bitcoin Is Up Both Ways.
Two coins, two time windows, one lesson: the clock you choose changes the story you tell.

XRP is up 2.7% over the last 24 hours, trading at $1.3821 at noon Eastern on Friday. But since midnight Eastern, it's down 0.97%. Bitcoin is up 2.3% over 24 hours, at $82,770, and since midnight it's up 0.54%.
The same day, the same two coins, two different numbers. The 24-hour window starts at noon yesterday; the "since midnight" window starts at 12 a.m. today. Both are true. The story you tell depends on which clock you pick.
XRP's price also swung wider: its highest and lowest points over 24 hours were 6.7% apart, while Bitcoin's were 3.9% apart. That's a measure of volatility β how much a price moves up and down.
The market file's next-window "lean" for XRP is down, based on 23 comparable days in a 24-day sample, with a 30% up-rate. Small sample, medium confidence. That's a signal, not a promise.
