Why a Coin Can Travel Twice as Far to End in the Same Place
Two digital currencies ended the day with the same gain, but one traded in a band exactly twice as wide β and their single biggest hour was the same hour.

XRP traded between $1.3859 and $1.4251 over the past 24 hours, a range of 2.8%. Bitcoin traded between $82,714 and $83,905, a range of 1.4%. Both closed up 1.1% on the day.
A range is the distance between a coin's lowest and highest price in a period. A wider range means more up-and-down movement without necessarily ending higher.
The record shows one more fact. Both coins had their single biggest hour in the hour starting 11 a.m. Eastern: XRP rose 1.6% in that hour, Bitcoin rose 0.9%. The record gives no reason for that hour.
XRP at noon was up 2.68% against the open, measured over 26 days of history. No coming window shows a lean.
Education, not financial advice.
